Patrol Division
In This Department
The Patrol Division is the most visible division within the Department. Patrol consists of three shifts each and every day. Patrol officers' main job function is answering calls for service from the public. Patrol officers are usually the first on scene at any type of public safety call. Patrol officers investigate traffic accidents, take initial case reports, and enforce Indiana traffic and criminal laws.
