The Logansport Police Department is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to serve as a part-time Evidence Technician. This civilian position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, security, and accountability of all property and evidence within the department. The Evidence Technician is responsible for the proper receipt, documentation, storage, transfer, and disposition of evidence in accordance with departmental policy and legal standards. This position is essential to supporting criminal investigations, court proceedings, and preserving public trust through strict chain-of-custody compliance and professional evidence management.
